Dr. Brent Spencer is a board certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs Surgeon and runs the Dermatology and Skin Surgery Institute of North Texas in Frisco, TX. He has conducted over 20+ trials with us since 2022 in multiple therapeutic areas. Dr. Spencer graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Microbiology from Texas A&M University and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his residency at the Texas A&M Health Science Center at Scott & White Memorial Hospital and a prestigious fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Spencer is deeply committed to lifelong education and advanced research in dermatology, authoring several publications and contributing to dermatology textbooks​.

Dr. Hailey Rouhana is a board-certified Dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, and currently runs the Skin Cancer Specialists clinic in Marietta, GA. She has conducted over 20+ trials with us since 2021 in multiple therapeutic areas. A native of New Orleans, LA, she attended the University of Georgia and received her Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Rouhana completed her dermatology residency at LSU’s Department of Dermatology before moving to Atlanta in 2019. While in medical school, she founded the LSU Chapter of SPOTS (Sun Protection Outreach Teaching by Students). She has been published in The Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and presented at dermatological meetings on a range of topics. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology (board certified dermatologist), a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Ira Thorla is a board certified Dermatologist and is one of the founders of Louisiana Dermatology Associates in Baton Rouge, LA. He has conducted over 30+ trials with us since 2018 in multiple therapeutic areas and has over 27 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Thorla’s site has also been a top enrolling site on every acne study we have conducted. He attended LSU’s School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he also completed his residency. While in medical school, Dr. Thorla was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and is now a gratis faculty member for the LSU Department of Dermatology Residency Program. He is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and Louisiana Dermatological Society. Dr. Thorla’s practice is recognized in the community as a hub for innovation and the development of cutting-edge treatments​​​​​​.

Dr. Deirdre Hooper is the co-founder of Audubon Dermatology in New Orleans, LA. She has conducted over 30+ trials with us since 2016 in multiple therapeutic areas. She graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from Louisiana Tech University, where she graduated cum laude. Her postdoctoral training included Louisiana State University Department of Dermatology as well as a Women’s Dermatologic Society Mentorship with Dr. Pearl Grimes in Los Angeles, CA. Her site has been a top enrolling site on every acne study we have conducted. For a topical acne treatment, our site enrolled over 50 subjects, leading to Dr. Hooper being a presenter at numerous Dermatology conferences, such as the Maui Derm 2021. Dr. Hooper also serves on the Board of Directors for the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and Women’s Dermatologic Society along with a leadership capacities on other distinguished dermatology societies

Dr. Sarah Jackson is the co-founder of Audubon Dermatology in New Orleans, LA. She has conducted over 30+ trials with us since 2016 in multiple therapeutic areas. Dr. Jackson graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine, where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She received her undergraduate degree in zoology from LSU, where she graduated cum laude. Her postdoctoral training was at the Louisiana State University Department of Dermatology. She was the signing Principal Investigator for the CSR for an AD study in which she was top enroller. Along with serving on multiple distinguished Dermatology boards, such as the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Jackson is also an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Louisiana State University (LSU).
