What will happen at my first visit?
-
The first thing that happens when you are contemplating participating in a clinical study is that the doctor or study staff will call you and discuss the study details with you. If you match the study criteria and are still interested in participating, a screening visit will start.
-
Screening Appointment – If you qualify after an initial interview, you will be presented with a consent to participate in the study. All clinical studies are different, so the exact procedures performed at a screening visit may vary. Once you have signed the informed consent document and agreed to participate in the study, the study coordinator will complete screening procedures such as obtaining a blood and urine sample, vital signs, a complete medical history and a medication check.
-
Please allow 1 to 2 hours for this initial visit*.
What happens at the other visits?*
-
You will receive reminder texts and a confirmation call prior to all of your visits
-
This is where the magic happens! You will never be treated as a number at DelRicht Research. We know you go to some medical clinics where the provider must rush through their patient visits. However, here at DelRicht we take our time and ensure all procedures are completed, tests are evaluated thoroughly by our physicians and all of your questions are answered to 100% completion. We even have diaries in many of our studies where you are capturing each time you take a medication and are able to give us additional information that you would like us to know about your in between visit times. In addition to all of this, you will be cared for by attentive staff that always have time for YOU! Welcome to the clinic you always wished for!
What should I bring to my appointment?
-
A list of medications that you have been taking within the last 30 days (name, dosage)
-
You DO NOT NEED insurance card, social security card, passport, or any checkbook. All of our studies are FREE of charge, so you won’t have to pay anything!
When will I be compensated?
-
If you qualify after the initial interview with the doctor and/or study staff, you will be eligible for compensation after each completed visit. Compensation varies by study.
-
If a family member or friend that you refer qualifies for a study, you will also receive a referral bonus!
